It’s a festival that celebrates the food of the world. Generosity in the plate and in the heart. The Haguenau Food Truck Festival challenged Brunografter, an artist from Strasbourg, to produce a work whose proceeds from sales will benefit the Children’s Cancer Health Association.
Color in the plates and in the hearts is the theme of this 2nd edition of the Haguenau Food Truck Festival, which took place over the weekend of April 2nd and 3rd. And that’s a good thing with the gray sky.
Around thirty restaurant trucks have moved into the Hopfenhalle. Although almost all are from Alsace, they offer a world cuisine. Flavors embellished with listening delights as each hour a local group drives the song forward.
And since it is also important for the eyes and not only for the taste buds, the festival has commissioned a Strasbourg artist, known on social networks, Brunograffer, to create a work on site in two days.
And the least we can say is that the universe of this jack of all trades who came to Alsace in 2017 to do a Masters in Graphic Design is colorful. “For this work I used a wooden pallet from which I cut a 1m2 board. I painted it white, which then allows me to achieve bright colors.”explains the young 26-year-old artist enthusiastically, who also wears many bright colors.
“I’m something of an expert on Zidouigouishe then tells us, adept at self-mockery. I draw a little line of color on the wire, it gives an abstract whole but with a certain overall coherence.. A consistency that is visibly popular on social networks, because Bruno Bosse, his real name, has almost 3 million subscribers on TikTok, Youtube and Instagram.
A recognition that allows him to live from his art for about two years. how to be generous Because the work produced today is to be presented to the public this Sunday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. and then auctioned off in the social networks. Starting price: 200 euros. Proceeds go to the Children’s Cancer Health Association. “It’s a great purpose that inspired me today: I drew lots of red hearts all over the place and put a ‘My color is love’ sticker.
And while good news spreads in seasons, the festival attendance for this 2nd edition has doubled compared to the previous edition that took place in 2019, with 8,000 visitors curious to tickle their senses and maybe one of them is eager to buy Brunograffer’s work.
