“A space like this allows our little patients to cocoon a little, to distract themselves and to focus less on the pain. Cohesion Day on September 10th in Épône

Born in March 2020, the Academy Brigade organized its first Day of Togetherness, in 2021, where 3,500 people came. It’s the goal these days the rapprochement of the police and the population, at the local level, and breaking stereotypes, as the national federation Raid Aventure is doing. “After that day we decided to do something with the profits locally. We had this idea after talking to a nurse from Smur. A young mother was injured in the face with an open wound and her children were shocked to see so much blood. We then considered funding two tablets to keep them busy, especially when their parents are in the ER. We still had money, so we decided to fund a fresco too! In the beginning it was supposed to be a small character, but the graffiti artist we work with regularly came in and covered the whole wall. » The association is organizing its next cohesion day, the 10.09, in the room at the end of the world in Epône. She hopes to receive as many people, if not more, than last year.
