All animations revolve around the theme of awakening to nature. “The goal is really to spend a lot of time outdoors, discovering nature, observing it, collecting different elements that are then used to imagine and create objects,” explains Sylvie Vannier. The forty children are divided into two groups of about twenty. The team consists of six moderators, including a BAFA trainee (proof of qualification for the function of moderator).Anaïs and Noémie in the middle of a painting workshop with Isabelle, the moderator. Walnut shells turn into beautiful ladybugs.
On Tuesday, 3 to 4 year olds set off to discover the Bellême forest. On Thursday, 4-5 year olds will discover the biodiversity around the pond of the La Borde intercommunal leisure center in Margon, in the municipality of Arcisses, together with the Athéna environmental protection association. A picnic is planned for the two groups on Friday on the grounds of the Margon playground. During the second week, a trip to the La Ferté-Bernard pond in Perche Sarthois is planned. Outdoor activities are encouraged: motor skills trail, sensory trail, games, hide-and-seek, treasure hunts, initiation to recycling, land art, cloud observation, etc.

“Each time there is a reminder of the historical context so that they can also enrich their knowledge,” specifies Yannis Guillaumé. On Friday they visit the Foulon Caves in Châteaudun with a treasure hunt as a bonus. During the week of April 19th to 22nd, activities revolve around playing together with a trip to the Château de Montmirail, which will be the setting for a new treasure hunt.
